The truth shall prevail

Scriptures

8 For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling, Psalms 116:8

8 who turned the rock into a pool,
the hard rock into springs of water. Psalm 114:8

Observation
- God has the power to save a person from death. God saves. God protects. God delivers us from tears and from falling.
- God can even turn a physical rock into running waters.

I am not to underestimate the power of my Father in Heaven. A lot of time, I tend to magnify what is obvious in front of me and forgotten what my Fathers' heart is for me. As I begin to see clearer, I realise that what God has started, He will ensure the completion of his work. He does not abandon the ship. That is not His nature. Gods' nature is these: Love, Compassionate, Patience, Peace, Full of goodness, true to His words, He makes things new again, Protects, Nurture, Grow, Feed the Poor...etc

Father delivers those us from the pits of spiritual "death". His greatness far supersede our understanding of Him. If the above is true, ie if God truly says that He can even transform a hard rocks into springs of water, SO BE IT!

Application
Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE with my Father in Heaven who owns this great planet. I am serving a KINGDOM that belongs to my LORD. If Father says that HE will turn my sorrow into joy, SO BE IT. If Father says that He will turn a hard rock in springs of living water, SO BE IT.

I will place my trust in You.
I will believe by faith.
I will keep loving.
I will live by faith, not by sight.
I will FOCUS On you.

Prayer

My Lord, My Lord, thank you for your affirmation. Your daughter ears and eyes has seen the truth, has listen to the truth. The truth shall prevails and I will be free from myself. I have you to light the path that I am on atm. I am walking with the powerful seeds of faith in my heart. I am seeing the situations around me in a whole new dimension. Father, I will obey you, trust in you that you will multiply all that I have.

Father, thank you for answering the desires of my heart. Ive wanted to watch 2010 for the second time and to have fries as well, you answered it just Sunday. Praise you, Father..:) You are the best.. SMOOCH...

Loving you always and always,
Doremi

Living By Faith

Scriptures (Proverbs 16)

Gods' Plan vs My Plan
1 Mortals make elaborate plans, but God has the last word.

3 Put God in charge of your work,
then what you've planned will take place. [The Message}

9 In their hearts human beings plan their course,
but the LORD establishes their steps. (TNIV)

16 How much better to get wisdom than gold,
to get insight rather than silver!

20 Those who give heed to instruction prosper, [a]
and blessed are those who trust in the LORD.

32 Better a patient person than a warrior,
those with self-control than those who take a city.

Pride
5 God can't stomach arrogance or pretense;
believe me, he'll put those upstarts in their place.

18 Pride goes before destruction,
a haughty spirit before a fall.

Observation
- God is sovereign
==> We may plan plans and am sure of where we are heading. However, God is the one who is in control of all things. It is wise to seek Him in the very first place of whatever we do.

- The downfall of pride
===> Pride goes before downfall.

Application
I am very aware that I have the capacity to plan and achieve projects/works with my own strength. I cannot deny the fact that somehow, I love this sense of self-control/achievement in all that I do. Subconsciously, I am slowly letting go of what it means to truly live by faith. To live by faith is to place my trust in God in all aspects of my life. Self-Control leads to self-satisfaction which leads to pride. This by far, is not something that I want to proceed down the line.

I have started with a seed of mustard faith and I want to pursue and venture more into this life of faith. :)

Prayers
Father, thank you for revealing these to me. These are precious to me. :) Show me what it means to live in accordance to your will. Amen!

Of Love, Compassion, Grace and Forgiveness

Scriptures

Jesus Calls Levi and Eats With Sinners

13 Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them. 14 As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector's booth. "Follow me," Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.
15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi's house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: "Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?"

17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Mark 2:13-17

Observation
- Levi was also known as Matthew, one of the 12 disciples who later wrote the book of Matthew. Jesus saw him and with great authority, called Levi to follow him. As a tax collector, Levi was hated by the fellow Jews as tax collectors amassed richness from his collections.

- The self-righteous Pharisees condemned Jesus for eating with the sinners. Jesus heard their accusations and stood up for himself.

- Here, I can see Jesus' mission here and his heart for the people. Indeed, God loves ALL even the "sinners", poor, sick and the widows. His love and compassion knows no skin colour, social status, sins of men. He is here to "save", to "heal" the sinners.

- There is bravery here. Jesus' love compels Him to move into the enemies camp. What the normal eyes see as "dirty" and "lowly", Jesus regards them as precious as gems.

- Jesus has not come to segregate the good and the bad but His main mission is to redeem/save ALL who believes/has yet to believe in Him. His love and compassion are the very things that draw all mankind to him. There is great humility in Jesus.

- Imagine if Jesus did not chose Matthew (who was then a "sinner"), there will never be a disciple to be added into the 12. Matthew will not be a living witness to Jesus' life stories and hence, we will not be able to know Jesus as the book of Matthew will never be written.

- It is because of Jesus who accepts and forgive us of our sins, we are able to accept our past and break the yoke of "sins" through the power of the Holy spirit.

Application
- I will obey you, to follow your ways.

Prayers
- Lord God, I pray for wisdom. Let the core of my concern comes from love and compassion for my fellow friends who are not walking in the ways of the Lord. Indeed, Jesus has not come to call the righteous but the "sinners". Indeed, it is the sick that needs the doctor.
