Deuteronomy 28
Observation
The entire chapter revealed the consequences of our choices on whether to obey HIM or disobey HIM. From the passage, the consequences of willful disobedience to His ways are very ugly and disturbing. It shows me that God is in control of ALL THINGS, even our enemies. It is extremely scary to see that our Lord will truly expel us and his judgement is inevitable.
The ugly consequences are more than the blessings. If we choose to go our way, we will bear the consequences. We have the tendency to justify our acts but the Lord knows what is in us. HE is able to see beyond us.
As for me, I'm in the midst of making choices now. To obey HIM or to follow my flesh. Argh.. it's difficult but from His words, it it pretty clear. I'm either with God or with the ENEMY. Which pills should I choose? The red or the blue?
Application
- I will obey my Lord, by hook or by crook.
Prayer
Lord God, I'm weak. I need you. I cannot fight this battle on my own. I desire your ways. Father, you are the only one who can save me, no one else. Father, your joy is my strength. I want to be on your side. Right now, right here.
Amen! :)

Humble Obedience
Scripture
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8 {NIV}
And don't for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you'll get where you're going; then you'll succeed. Joshua 1:8 {The Message}
Observation
After Moses' death, God commanded Joshua to lead His people into the Promise Land. This is the new generation where the rebellious ancestor had all died except for Joshua and Caleb. God's command is very straight- forward. He commanded us, his children to mediate on His word and follow what He had written in His Word.
Many of us wants to do our own ways, to choose the easy way out, the way that is desirable to the eyes, taste, mind and touch. We fall because our fore-ancestors fell. God knows this very well. But, He kept reminding us to stand firm and brace the challenges with HIM, not without HIM.. God is always in partnership with us but are we willing to submit our all to Him?
Application
I want to desire after my Father. I want to seek after His heart. I want to be faithful and obey Him. The truth only comes from Him, through Him, in Him. The truth will set me free.
Prayer
My Lord, there is none like you. I want to live to follow you. Just like Joshua, I want to obey you. I want my household to follow you and obey your commandment. Father, anything that is not of you in my life, I want to cast it out in the name of Jesus. Father, I want to be free.

To obey
Scripture
Since they didn't bother to acknowledge God, God quit bothering them and let them run loose. Romans 1:28
Observation
Gods' people had stopped acknowledging the presence of the Lord. Instead, they worship other earthly created idols. They worshipped the Lord with their mouth but their hearts were far from God. The moment they disobeyed God, this was the moment where their relationships with the Creator began to erode away.
Thus, is the consequences of sins. We may think our sins are hidden from the eyes of the world but God knows and see it all. We can hide nothing from the Creator and no amount of self-justifications are sufficient for us to talk our way out. The more we chose our ways, the more our hearts began to harden. As a result, just like the Pharaoh, God finally let go of His mercy and let his image barrier has his ways. Thus, the Pharaoh fell into the arms of Satan.
Gods' nature is to love his Creations. However, if His creation chose to disobey the Him, the consequences will be ugly.
Application
I acknowledge that I will never be a sin-less being no matter how hard I try. Yet, when I do fall, it makes me miserable. I do not want to be like Adam and Eve who spiralled down the blame-shame game but to know that even when I fall, I do fall into grace. I pray that I do not take Gods' grace for granted. To be disowned by God is worst than death. This is the ultimate goal for Satan=> to separate Man with God.
Ive to stay focus in building my relationship with God. To know him and to obey Him. To gain wisdom from His Word and to make the right choices. To accept that I'm fallen but to know that nothing, absolutely nothing can separate me from His love.
Prayer
Lord God, thank you for your forgiveness and grace. Without you, whom am I but dirt on the ground. Let me never fall too far until my heart becomes harden. I pray for conviction and not condemnation. I pray to choose well; to choose you above my fleshy desire. Be with me. Guide me and heal me. Holy Spirit, I give you the permission to do just that. :)

To be an overcomer
Scripture (Revelation 21:6)
6He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.7He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
Observation
- The new heaven has arrived on earth. God declares that He will make all things new. He confirms again his identity as the author of creation and all things begin and ends in and through Him. To us who are thirsty after Him, God will continue to refresh and renew us. To those who overcome hardship and sufferings on earth, these are Gods' sons and daughters in whom He is well pleased.
God constantly reminded us of his promises. Although we may have to go through pain, injustice, unfairness or suffers due to someone's ignorance or irresponsibility, yet God says that sufferings produces perseverance, perseverance produces character and character, hope. Hope in Him will never fails us.
To those who overcome, they shall receive the inheritance as Sons and daughters of God. Wow... :)
Application
In the current situation that I'm facing now, I have to bank in to the promises that the Lord has given me. I must overcome not by my own understanding, strength or power but only by the spirit. To give up hope, is to spiral down in deep despair. To place my hope is to learn to live each day with gratitude, knowing deep within that God is by my side, protecting, guiding and teaching me in all His ways.
Prayer
Father, I surrender my fear and insecurity to you again. I surrender my all to you. All that is not of you, Father, I choose to lay dissolve into the air. Father, I choose to live in you, to be present in you. I want to receive the inheritance that you have given me. My hope is in you, not in any work or relationships. My focus in in you alone. My trust is in you alone. Teach me to trust again. Teach me to live in freedom again. Amen! :)

In Awe
Hallow..
IT's gonna be a wholesome weekend. Will be running around hosting MCEE Conference from Friday - Saturday. And I think I will be sharing a testimony on Sunday.. :) The best is that I will be having Monday and Tuesday off.. SUPERB..
How am I feeling now? INVINCIBLE.. :) Kinda, surreal. Hopeful. and Trusting.
Lord God, I surrender the weekend for you. It is not I who lives but you who live in me. Father, I want to surrender my all to you and say that you are God Almighty.
Yes. Ive just called Karen.. I will do it..:) May Gods' grace n courage be with me. :)
Father, I want to live up this weekend onto your hands. Indeed, you are almighty. Indeed there is none like you. Father, I want to say that you are wonderful beyond description. Let me live to honour and worship you.
